At Skellydog Branding, our team is the heartbeat of everything we do. We’re a diverse group of creative professionals who bring unique perspectives and talents to the table. Let’s get to know the faces behind the brand!
Madi Mae (She/Her) – Founder, Creative Director
As a military wife currently based in Connecticut, Madi brings adaptability and creativity to everything she does.
When she’s not leading the Skellydog pack, she’s spending time with her husband August and their little boy Jasper.
A collector of graphic tees and art supplies, Madi’s creative spirit shines through in her work.
Foster the People provides the soundtrack to her entrepreneurial journey, and as she enters her eighth year as a business owner, she continues to be inspired by the amazing clients and team members who’ve supported her through the highest highs and lowest lows.
Katy Brock (She/Her) – Graphic Designer & Web Designer
Based in Conway, SC, Katy brings her passion for storytelling and creativity to the team. Her family’s recent move to Conway has turned into a wonderful new chapter, with her sisters and parents all nearby.
A self-proclaimed nerd, Katy is a comic convention enthusiast who brings the same enthusiasm to her client work as she does to her snow globe collection from travels around the world.
Her appreciation for art is evident in her admiration for Nathan Durfee’s whimsical works, and she’s looking forward to an exciting 2025 filled with great clients, family celebrations, and her sister’s wedding.
Rebekah McCubbins (She/Her) – Copywriter
Rebekah is based in the greater Charleston area of South Carolina. When she’s not writing, you can find her reading, embroidering, cooking, or watching a good movie.
She loves music (especially Chappell Roan), good food, all things horror and Southern Gothic, cryptozoology, and board games. Rebekah loves working with Skellydog because the team is full of good people who do great work, and the clients are passionate business owners with vision and heart.
She looks forward to continuing to do great things with Skellydog in 2025 and beyond.
Stephanie Hurtado (She/Her) – Branding & Logo Designer
Calling San Antonio, Texas home, Stephanie brings her creative energy to everything she does.
She shares her life with her little boy Ollivander and her rescue pets, Oliver and Rio. With a passion for classic rock (think Queen, Eagles, and Led Zeppelin) and interests spanning from reading to herbalism, Stephanie approaches 2025 with optimism and a focus on self-discovery.
Alivia Burke (She/Her & They/Them) – Brand Strategist
From central Louisiana, Alivia brings their creative flair to the team through various passions, including crocheting and creative writing.
She shares her space with Chester, a mischievous cat with a talent for cabinet raids. Alivia’s collection of branding and web design card decks speaks to her professional interests, while her enthusiasm for collaboration makes her a valuable team member.
She’s most excited to forge new connections and perspectives in the coming year!
Maddie Nelson (She/Her) – Video Content Manager
Based in New London, CT, Maddie brings a unique artistic perspective to the team. When she’s not working, she’s either playing piano, creating mini documentary films, or adding to her fascinating collection of vintage portraits from the late 1800s to 1920s.
She shares her home with her pets Saoirse (dog) and Mai (cat), and finds inspiration in the music of Greta Van Fleet.
Maddie values the supportive environment at Skellydog, where she continues to grow and learn about business.
Katie (She/Her) – Virtual Assistant
A music enthusiast (with a current fondness for Citizen Soldier), Katie balances her professional life with caring for her “three little gremlins and a giant puppy.”
Her creative outlet includes crochet, though she admits to having several works-in-progress scattered around her house. Katie values the amazing people she works with at Skellydog and approaches 2025 with hope and optimism for her family.
