Madi Mae (She/Her) – Founder, Creative Director
As a previous military wife currently based in Connecticut, Madi brings adaptability and creativity to everything she does.
When she’s not leading the Skellydog pack, she’s spending time with her husband, August, and their little boy, Jasper.
A collector of graphic tees and art supplies, Madi’s creative spirit shines through in her work.
Foster the People provides the soundtrack to her entrepreneurial journey, and as she enters her tenth year as a business owner, she continues to be inspired by the amazing clients and team members who’ve supported her through the highest highs and lowest lows.
Stephanie Hurtado (She/Her) – Branding & Logo Designer
Calling San Antonio, Texas home, Stephanie brings her creative energy to everything she does.
She shares her life with her little boy Ollivander and her rescue pets, Oliver and Rio. With a passion for classic rock (think Queen, Eagles, and Led Zeppelin) and interests spanning from reading to herbalism, Stephanie approaches 2026 with optimism and a focus on self-discovery.
Jacob (He/Him) – Web Designer & Content Designer
Jacob is a Content Designer and Web Designer at Skellydog, bringing a modern, digital-first perspective to how brands show up online.
With a background shaped by gaming, streaming culture, and visual storytelling, Jacob thinks about design the way people actually experience it — on screens, in motion, and in real time. His work focuses on clean execution, smart structure, and visuals that feel intentional instead of overdesigned.
Based in Colorado, Jacob also spends his creative time streaming games and working in photography, which feeds directly into how he approaches content, layout, and flow across websites and digital assets.
He’s a strong fit for Skellydog’s approach to building brands and web experiences that feel current, functional, and built for the future — not just what looks good today.
Alivia Burke (She/Her & They/Them) – Brand Strategist
From central Louisiana, Alivia brings their creative flair to the team through various passions, including crocheting and creative writing.
She shares her space with Chester, a mischievous cat with a talent for cabinet raids. Alivia’s collection of branding and web design card decks speaks to her professional interests, while her enthusiasm for collaboration makes her a valuable team member.
She’s most excited to forge new connections and perspectives in the coming year!
Maddie Nelson (She/Her) – Video Content Manager
Based in New London, CT, Maddie brings a unique artistic perspective to the team. When she’s not working, she’s either playing piano, creating mini documentary films, or adding to her fascinating collection of vintage portraits from the late 1800s to 1920s.
She shares her home with her pets Saoirse (dog) and Mai (cat), and finds inspiration in the music of Greta Van Fleet.
Maddie values the supportive environment at Skellydog, where she continues to grow and learn about business.
Katie (She/Her) – Virtual Assistant
A music enthusiast (with a current fondness for Citizen Soldier), Katie balances her professional life with caring for her “three little gremlins and a giant puppy.”
Her creative outlet includes crochet, though she admits to having several works-in-progress scattered around her house. Katie values the amazing people she works with at Skellydog and approaches 2026 with hope and optimism for her family.
